Perhaps Silicon Valley's finest restaurant, certainly the first world class restaurant. I remember visiting Emile's Swiss Affair in 1973, sitting at the Captain's Table. He did a plate of three styles of veal, which was outstanding. His foie gras is outstanding, especially with Sauterne. He was also the first restaurant where I had Grand Marnier Soufflé, and it was his signature dessert, copied by many restaurants.

Emile has trained many chefs in the valley, still does the cooking school, also does private dinners for many charities, active in the world wide Chaine des Rotisseurs, and is still the master chef. In fact, he is the Grand Master. Still ski's and climbs mountains and is a celebrity, known in all circles of Silicon Valley.

He owns the building, the parking lot, and years ago decided not to go the banquet room route, to specialize on dinners for couples and small groups. A great restaurant for business, romance, or other pleasures.

Dinner for Eight with Emile Mooser as the chef for the Saratoga High School Athlete Boosters. The dinner was part of the school's fund raising activities.
